It is a challenging task to accurately track the global maximum power point (GMPP) in changing environment widely used photovoltaic (PV) systems. So far, variety of (MPP) tracking algorithms have been solar PV The classical algorithm simple and fast speed effectively constant environment, but it can get stuck at an extreme variable environment. In this paper, variable-step incremental conductance (VINC) method combined with gray wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm. Firstly, GWO conducts search. When search reaches area near GMPP, next step process carried out based on iteration number conditions GWO. Enter VINC determine whether current left or right side vertex value. And adjust duty cycle during using different size methods sides, finally locate GMPP To verify robustness proposed algorithm, simulation, experimental comparisons were conducted between article VINC. efficiency static shadows, simulated dynamic shadows 99.80%, 98.82%, 99.43%, 98.51%, respectively. time simulation experiment 46.49% 89.34% faster than technologies, results show that compared methods, has improved efficiency. Moreover, combines two intelligent algorithms, fewer parameters, calculation process, lower complexity, hardware requirements, better actual implementation performance.
